Dear Graduate Brothers,
As we find ourselves in an unusual and unprecedented situation with the COVID-19 virus, F.A. Morse and Graduate Officials have closed the Chapter House in line with the University's closure of dorms and campus living. This decision was strongly advised by Phi Gamma Delta International Headquarters and WPI university officials.
The health and safety of our undergraduate Brothers was paramount in the face of this decision. The Chapter House will reopen when WPI makes the decision to reopen its dorms and campus living. All undergraduates will participate in online courses from their homes until the end of the semester.
Please avoid coming to the Chapter House until normal operations are resumed. We thank you in advance for your cooperation on this.
Since large group gatherings have been restricted on campus and elsewhere in the community for the foreseeable future, our annual Pig Dinner has been postponed until further notice.
An alumni steering committee is continuing to lay the groundwork for the replacement of our 120 year-old Chapter House. These efforts will continue to forge ahead as we navigate the current situation.
We hope all our alumni and their families are well and continue to stay well going forward. As the situation evolves, we will provide more updates as they pertain to Pi Iota. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
Fraternally,
Dave Willens Pi Iota PL FA Morse VP
